Dr. Novak is a board-certified, fellowship-trained aesthetic plastic surgeon at Southlake Plastic Surgery in Southlake, Texas. As the Medical Director of the Southlake Plastic Surgery Med Spa, he provides a full spectrum of surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments for the face, nose, breast, and body.
A Texas native, Dr. Novak was born and raised in Grapevine. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. During his time there, he excelled both academically and athletically, earning the title of NCAA Scholar-Athlete and being recognized as the NCAA Texas State University Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2010. He competed for four years on the university’s cross-country and track teams.
Dr. Novak earned his medical degree from The University of Texas McGovern Medical School, located in Houston—the world’s largest medical center. Early in medical school, he became involved in plastic surgery research and completed a prestigious breast reconstruction research appointment at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He then pursued an integrated plastic surgery residency at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. As the only Level I trauma center between Dallas and Austin, this training provided him with extensive experience in reconstructive, hand, breast, craniofacial, microsurgical, and aesthetic surgery.
Following residency, Dr. Novak completed a highly sought-after, one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, refining his expertise in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Throughout his training, he presented at national plastic surgery conferences and published research in leading plastic surgery journals.
Dr. Novak prioritizes patient safety, satisfaction, and exceptional outcomes, believing in the transformative impact of plastic surgery. Outside of his practice, he and his wife, Dr. Stephanie Novak, a pediatrician in Southlake, stay busy raising their three children. He remains passionate about running, with a marathon personal best of 2:53:27.
